Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical, maintenance and management support, monitoring the client secure Wide Area Network. He/she will monitor, troubleshoot, isolate and resolve network problems for a range of communications network components and systems, perform these functions across a wide range of network facilities & equipment including physical media, csu's, intelligent multiplexers, ATM devices, routers, bridges, gateways and related network management components. The candidate will utilize monitoring, performance analysis and network management equipment to troubleshoot and isolate problems, gauge network performance and track data, voice, video and imagery circuits. He/she will also devise solutions to operational problems within the capacity of installed equipment, develop and implement contingency plans for hardware and software failures and outages.

Skills:
The successful candidate is required to have the following skills:
- Experience in the day-to-day administration and operation support for a Windows 2003 Active Directory Domain Controllers
- Server OS patch management
- Working knowledge of Active Directory GPOs, and system accounts
- Active Directory auditing and monitoring
- Working knowledge of standard protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, IPC, RPC
- Experience in administrating Symantec enterprise Antivirus and or similar enterprise platforms
- Experience in administering CA Brightstore and or similar enterprise backup applications
- Familiarity with the operation of What’s up Gold Professional and or similar network monitoring tools
- Working knowledge of Novell eDirectory and GroupWise
- Familiarity with Dell OpenManage management software
- Experience in administering Microsoft Exchange 2003
- Experience in administering Blackberry Enterprise Server
- Experience in administering Microsoft SQL Server 2005
- Dell server PE 1850, 2850, 2950, 6650, and 6850 configuration experience
- Fundamental understanding of SAN configuration and technologies is a plus
- Ability to build Windows 2003 server images and apply hardening standards is desirable
